Photographing growing families makes my heart happy. This casual, in home newborn session near Lancaster, PA was just that. Jenn and Brandon were married at the Riverdale Manor wedding venue several years ago. I was the lucky duck who had the great priviledge of being their photographer. As with many of my wonderful couples, we felt like we had an instant connection! When they reached out about a newborn session for their sweet baby boy, I was beyond thrilled to be there for this wonderful family.
For me, I find that newborn sessions feel most comfortable in-home. As new parents (even if this is not your first baby) it can feel overwhelming to think of getting dolled up and rounding the whole family up to get out of the house on time for a potentially chaotic photo session.
Let’s face it, newborns are unpredictable. And that’s OK! Let’s make this easy on all of you new parents out there! I will come to you. Please don’t feel that you have to clean the whole house – a room, or even a corner of a room, will do. If baby sleeps, wonderful! If baby is fussy, no problem! We have everything you could possibly need at your disposal. While I live in Lancaster, PA – I am happy to drive to my clients homes wherever they may be located.
This sweet boy happened to be an angel. Best of all? I had the chance to catch up with the rest of his gorgeous family while we basked in all his newborn goodness.
