ENGAGEMENT // York, PA
We first sat down with Chelsea and Matt over a cup of coffee at my favorite coffee spot in Lancaster (Mean Cup, incase you were wondering). Within minutes we were laughing away and starting to plan their engagement session. In talking with them we learned that they both love beer. In fact, for their first date they went to his place for a beer and to play Mortal Combat. (Amazing.) Well, they happened to tell us about their favorite bar and that settled it! We knew that no matter where else this engagement session took us, we would definitely have to stop by the Holy Hound Taproom in York, PA. Boy are we glad we did! It was the perfect starting point for our session. A couple of beers, a LOT of laughter, and some amazing images later we were ready to move on to a secondary location.
It was one of those overcast and on/off rainy type of days here in PA and when we set out I wasn’t sure if the rain would hold off but once we got to Lake Redman the rainy magically disappeared (yay!) AND we had the beach almost completely to ourselves. Cha-ching! Needless to say, what a fun way to spend a day – scoping out new spots and hanging out with new friends.
Congratulations Chelsea and Matt! We can’t wait to be there to capture your wedding next year. In the mean time, another trip to the Holy Hound?
