ENGAGEMENT // Washington, D.C.
It really is a small world, isn’t it?
We had been in touch with Ali + Dan by phone and email and didn’t really get to hang out with them until the engagement session. As we were spending the morning together and hanging out Dan turned to me and asked about my last name… “Do you have any relatives in Medford, NJ?” Why, yes! I said. My aunt,uncle, and cousins are all in Medford! … As it turns out Dan went to school with one of my cousins and we didn’t put two and two together until we were all standing in front of the Capitol Building in D.C. This is the spot where Dan proposed to Ali, by the way. As you can see, they are also big Philadelphia sports fans – in fact, Dan was headed to a game later that day!
It was a great pleasure to be able to get to photograph this lovely couple in D.C. and we are so looking forward to celebrating their wedding in the fall!
