Let me set the scene, it is a gorgeous (and I mean GORGEOUS) summer’s day. The sun is shining, the birds a chirping and Kevin and I are…. sitting in traffic. Happily, it was on the way to Anja and Mike’s amazing wedding day. In normal traffic, it should take us under an hour and a half to get into Center City, Philadelphia… but on this gorgeous day it took 4 hours. Yikes! Luckily, we left super early and Anja was the calmest, coolest, most collected bride anyone has ever seen. Read on for more Center City Philadelphia wedding photos!
When we (finally) arrived at Sofitel in downtown Philadelphia, we went straight up to see Anja and her beautiful bridesmaids! Anja was literally glowing, you could just feel the love and excitement emanating from her. While Kevin went to check in on Mike and his groomsmen the girls moved from one of the conference rooms into a suite where Anja would actually get into her dress. We had a close call *almost* running into Mike while getting in the elevator to head out to the ceremony… but thankfully it all worked out!
The beautiful ceremony took place at St. Joseph University in Philadelphia. Anja and Mike knew they wanted to get some bridal party portraits at the Museum of Art before heading back to Sofitel for the reception. The day was really hot (which I actually love!) so we grabbed some quick and awesome photos before calling it a day and heading right in to the party!
Can I also say, the DJ’s were INCREDIBLE. I will link them at the end of this post but seriously, every party needs the guys from FM3 Productions.
